Tito,i have forwarded all of your posts to my lawyer, and you will not even get a cease and desist lettr.I will be filing charges against you.To bad you just couldnt come here and be polite. Now your gonna pay.I should have known that a filthy mexican spic such as yourself couldnt behave himself. Its because of minorities like you that this country is going down the toilet. Why do you think there was such a peaceful and crime free scene on the Dead scene in the first place?Because it was 99% percent white people, thats why.Just stating facts man.

Nice try. Like Rob, I don't buy it for a second, especially knowing my family background. Gotta do better than that.

There's that little period again...scaring me. I don't think it's the one that Ian lost. But it is there.

Dire doesn't have periods chasing him, at least not usually.

Nah, must be imagining it...

Good call. This poster goes by "direwolf0701."

There is weak, and there is pathetic. Both those terms are overstating this "persons" attempt at character assasination. I think it time to get off the Apple IIC, put your Lunchable in that Spice Girls lunch box (you know; the one behind the Scottie Pippen cut-out) and get off to school, you'll be late for P.E.

And Dire follows closely to lick my farts. Faggot.

Patrick, my friend, I hope you’re well. I doubt if our intellectual pygmy friend above would recognise withering contempt if you tattooed it on his tender portions with a red hot needle. So, let’s get back to better things.

I feel almost foolish for admitting to letting this one pass me by until now but I’ve just been discovering the joys of 05-35-77 at the Mosque. How could I have missed out on this for so long? For me it’s up there with any of the 77 monsters. The first set is a delight. Half-Step, Jack Straw, Peggy-O and Cassidy all present and correct and shining.

The jam out of Scarlet Begonias spirals heavenwards and carries your spirit right along with out. Joyous is the word that springs to mind. There’s a very mellow He’s Gone that’s a really sweet listen. The Other One isn’t a great Other One I have to say because Phil seems uncharacteristically restrained and I really think that tune needs some heavy Lesh thunder to make it work right. Wharf Rat is another shining example of powerful restraint – the mighty engine of the Dead humming along effortlessly. Really I guess if you had to characterize this show you have to say it was mellow. So if mellow is what you’re after (and hey, sometimes we all need a little mellow don’t we?) then this one is for you.

If you feel like giving it a listen:

(And let me tell you that my heart is just about bursting out of my chest at some of the things that are going up on that site.)

I'm ever so happy to hear that you have finally discovered the true gem that is The Mosque show. I have long referenced this show as one where I actually like Donna's contributions, especially during the Scarlet>Fire transition jam.
As for "heart bursting from my chest", I would agree ONLY if you further qualify that statement by following it up with "...just like that dude in Alien"

Got to agree with you re Donna - she sings here as sweetly as she does with the JGB. In fact - dare I suggest that this show has something of a JGB feel to it? And is that because Phil is taking a bit of a backseat? Must be hard for a backing singer to compete with the Lesh sturm und drang.

Thanks Rob. All because of your post, I was forced to put on the Mosque show, and now the rest of my day is toast. The Estimated bridge to He's Gone has completely distracted me from any chance of productive work. Thanks again.

Hey, I never really thought of Jerry as being our token Mexican on the scene. Was he our 1%? You learn something new everyday I guess.

Rumor has it that it was really "Fuego en la Montana" to start, but the boys talked him out of it. Or was it "Ojos del mundo"? Always mix them up.
